The House of Blades custom blue stonewash Link uses a high-quality S35VN stainless steel blade that has been stonewash finished to hide the wear and tear from daily use. It uses a blue anodized aluminum handle with red back spacer. The Link is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening for easy one-handed opening via the flipper.
The missing linkbetween a quality, made-in-the-USA knife and a price most consumers can affordhas been found. Or, to be more precise, Kershaw is making it. Appropriately, it is called the Link and it has been given the patriotic model number of 1776 and colored even more appropriately for the U S of A.
The sculpted lines and texture of the handle provide for a comfortable and secure grip. The Link feels big and solid in the hand and offers a clean look. The pocket-clip is reversible for convenient left or right-handed pocket carry. The Link is made in Kershaws state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon.

This has a little more girth and so far requires slightly more pressure to present the blade than the Dividend I ordered with it. House of Blades steel choice and color was what drew me to them. This is a great value and worth it if you can spend a little more than usual to get the HOB improvements.
This HOB exclusive for the Kershaw 1776 Link Blue is well worth everypenny. Mine came very sharp, and blade centering was perfect. I like theS35VN steel. I also have the upgraded M390 1776 Link, and it is just as good, but with the higher grade of blade steel. Came with a nice Silver deep carry pocket clip. My other with M390, did not come with a deep carry clip, but I contacted Kershaw customer service, and had a new deep carry pocket clip in 5 days, to add to the knife. Shipping was fast from HOB. I would recommend this to anyone as a EDC.
I really like this knife. It is a nice size for an EDC and has a great blade steel. Thinking about getting the red one too.
I got the red model and liked it so much I had to have the blue one. I plan to get the black one with M390 steel next.
HOB made a great knife even better with the S35VN steel and other cosmetic upgrades. It is well worth the extra $$.
Man this blade was real, nice I mean real, nice ...ive had some, nice knives in the past but this thing is real nice.
I was on the fence about this knife, but once in hand I had no regrets. This thing is gorgeous and built like a tank, a little heavier than I thought it would be, but not cumbersome. Great quality and super fast shipping from HOB! The dividend is next!
I've been collecting and using Kershaw knives for the last 8 or 9 years and there are several real stand outs among the MANY that Kershaw has made and the Link is one of these. I had a regular Link with the GFN scales and 420C blade and wanted the better s35vn steel blade.
I got the better steel but the knife is HEAVY......WAY heavy for its size.
I would KILL for this knife with G10 scales.
I love this knife. I do YouTube reviews on knifes and my channel name is adambomb98 so I like to think I now somewhat of what I am talking about haha. Anyway the knife itself is visually beutifull the blue aluminum scales with the white liners and the red backspacer really gives this knife an awesome patriotic look! When i get a new knife i usually use my wicked edge to get the knife ti the sharpness level i live but The kershaw link to my surprise came from the factory razor sharp so I did not have to sharpen It! I love the blade steel, s35vn. It has amazing edge retention and great corrosion resistance as well. It is one of my favorite steels. The action of this knife is just plain fun... I find myself opening and closing this knife hundreds of times while I watch tv haha. There is absolutely NO blade play. NO horizontal or vertical bladeplay and the centering is not perfect but it is what I would consider to be acceptable. I have only had this knife for a few days but as of right now I only have two cons with this knife and it is that it is a little to heavy for edc. I wish they milled the liners and did other weight saving techniques and the fact that the blade centering is slightly off but is still acceptable Well, overall I really like this knife! And i highly recommend it!
