Kershaw HOB Exclusive 1776RDSWHOB Link Red Stonewash Assisted Knife
The House of Blades custom red stonewash Link uses one of the highest quality S35VN stainless steels for the blade that has been stonewash finished to hide the wear and tear from daily use. It uses a red anodized aluminum handle with a blue back spacer. The Link is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening for easy one-handed opening via the flipper.
The missing linkbetween a quality, made-in-the-USA knife and a price most consumers can affordhas been found. Or, to be more precise, Kershaw is making it. Appropriately, it is called the Link and it has been given the patriotic model number of 1776 and colored even more appropriately for the U S of A.
The sculpted lines and texture of the handle provide for a comfortable and secure grip. The Link feels big and solid in the hand and offers a clean look. The pocket-clip is reversible for convenient left or right-handed pocket carry. The Link is made in Kershaws state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon.

i am a knife collector/nut. I have some really nice/expensive knives, yet I love this knife. It is well balanced and the assist is great. The color combo is beautiful. I plan to buy the blue one also. A few negatives exist at this price. The Al grip offers little texture. I would pay extra to see some gimping for my thumb on the back of the blade. Does anyone know why the flag is flying backwards?
Best EDC Knife for the price by far

You don't get more value for quality than this. S35VN steel, pretty much dead zero blade-play, perfectly centered, and beautifully patriotic. I sometimes forget that it's in my pocket with the deep pocket clip. The feel of the stonewashed blade is incredible. And while I'm not usually a fan of assisted open, this knife opens quickly and smoothly every time with the Speed-Assist opening with little effort. Well done, HOB and Kershaw!
Amazing product! Amazing service!

Ok to me the Kershaw Link is one of the best knives I've ever handled. It has great ergonomics and great blade shape. I love it so much I actually wrote kershaw and told them they should make it using a better steel. So when I saw this I knew I had to get it. The one tiny gripe I have is the color choices and the back spacer. I think it's cool with the red white and blue theme but i like black, grey, or polished. The red is good but the blue back spacer I will have to fix. Anyway this knife is great! I actually use my knives so over time it will have a great wear on the scales and then pass it off to my son. HOB is amazing as well! Super fast shipping! Those guys were on it! Sorry so long but I hope this helps.

This is a great knife. It is the best value in the USA kershaws. The upgraded steel makes this like the poor mans ZT.

Just a beautiful knife. Fit and finish is perfect, blade is perfectly centered, value is excellent- no where else could you get this type of blade quality for under a $100. The stonewash is very good, the red aluminum and blue back spacer is attractive. The feel and ergonomics in your hand is excellent and the deep pocket clip is a bonus. Plus it's made in the USA - it should be part of everyone's collection.

The Kershaw Link 1776 from HOB is a fantastic EDC knife for the price. I have a couple other EDC knives purchased at a similar price point and the quality is not even close to this 1776. My friends were also wowed by the craftsmanship of this knife. I'm considering buying another one.

Nothing out there can beat this knife as for as quality and materials for the price. Beautiful Red Aluminum with a blue backspacer and a stonewash blade. Americana at its best. Plan on purchasing the blue aluminum with the red backspace now.
near perfect EDC

Very well constructed knife no issues, quick deployment with speed safe although would prefer manual on bearings. Can't beat the price, s35vn for 80bucks ?! Made in the USA as well, shipped next day and was in my hands two days later. Should be more like 4.5 stars but didn't give me that option. Very happy with my purchase and overall transaction with HOB
Hard to beat for the price

Great knife overall. USA made, s35vn steel, outstanding fit and finish. Can't go wrong.

Bought this for a new edc and loved the patriotic aspect of it. Did not know if I wanted to draw that much attention carrying a red knife, but the deep carry pocket clip makes it a non-issue. The blade came hair popping sharp, and it had an excellent edge bevel grind (nice and even on both sides). The action upon open is smooth and the fastest flipper I own. The lock-up is more solid than knives I paid twice as much for. The feel of the aluminum handle is ergonomic and is very sleek and streamlined. The steel was an excellent upgrade for this knife. The only gripe I have is the large deep carry pocket clip, it keeps catching on things, and they could accomplish the same thing with a shorter version. Overall this is an awesome knife especially for the price. Btw, this was my first time using house of blades and they shipped Extemely Fast, even with the optional engraving.
